WEISSWALD – Classic – watch bands are meticulously handcrafted from Siberian Taiga birch bark – the first such watch strap on the market. The benefits of birch bark are many: this sustainable, renewable, natural material is vegan, durable, water- and sweat-repellent, practical, comfortable, as well as beautiful. Whilst wearing a WEISSWALD watch band, velvety soft birch bark and your skin caress each other all day, inseparable, coexisting.
Birch bark is pH-skin-balanced and antibacterial meaning that WEISSWALD is not only good for the environment but good for your skin too. They conform to the individual shape of your wrist and, over time, develop a unique and charming patina. They require no regular maintenance and are available in a range of colours from light brown to deep ochre.
Our loop-free watch band clasps click into place, guaranteeing that even the heaviest watch face is secure at the wrist. WEISSWALD watch bands are suitable for different sizes of wrists and hands, as well as a wide range of watch faces. The watch band can be changed quickly and easily with a spring bar tool. Seit nunmehr fast 12 Monaten trage ich mein Weisswald-Band an meiner goldenen Maurice-Lacroix. Anders als mit den originalen, braunen Lederband spürt man die Uhr im Alltag gar nicht am Arm. Das Band ist einerseits herrlich weich (muss man wirklich mal angefasst haben), andererseits ist es “steif” genug, um quasi wie ein Armreif ums Handgelenk zu liegen. ich finde das sehr angenehm. seit kurzem habe ich sogar eine goldene Schließe zu meiner goldenen Uhr bekommen. Jetzt passt das Band auch optisch perfekt zu meiner Uhr. Und es wird sogar jeden Tag schöner. Ich hoffe das Band hält noch ewig, aber da habe ich aktuell keine Bedenken.

Ich trage seit ein paar Monaten an meiner Uhr das Birkenrindenarmband. Ich war wirklich überrascht, wie schnell es sich an die Form meines Arms gewöhnt (viel schneller als Leder!) und wie leicht und toll sich das Material anfühlt. Die elegante Variante passt auch super zu meiner eher ungewöhnlichen Uhr (schwarzes Ziffernblatt).
